Introducing the new Ugly Stik® Carbon Inshore rod series, now 30% lighter and still 50% stronger. These rods are made with 100% graphite for a lightweight feel, crisp actions, and increased sensitivity, all while maintaining the legendary toughness that Ugly Stik is known for.

In controlled lab testing, the Ugly Stik Carbon model USCBSP701MH was found to be, on average, 50% stronger than the Abu Garcia Vendetta model VDTS70-6. Actual strength may vary depending on usage.

Similarly, when compared to like Ugly Stik® GX2 rod models in controlled lab testing, the Ugly Stik Carbon series was found to be, on average, 30% lighter. Actual weight may vary based on factors such as reel choice and line weight.

Features of the Ugly Stik Carbon Inshore rods include a solid graphite tip for increased sensitivity, Ugly Tech construction with 100% 24-ton graphite for a lightweight and well-balanced design, and one-piece stainless steel Ugly Tuff guides for maximized durability with all types of line, including braid, while eliminating insert pop-outs.

These rods also come equipped with premium Cork Fore Grip and Shrink Tube Rear Handles, providing comfort and control during long days on the water. Some select models also feature Shrink Tube Handles for a more customized feel.
